Group Dog walking in bristol
About our group walks
At Clifton Dog Walking, we aim to provide everyday adventure-style walks for our dogs in large areas of woodland and the countryside. We have multiple tried and tested walking locations across Bristol which have been selected based on safety and enrichment for your dogs. Our group dog walks have a maximum of six dogs, usually less and are one hour in length. A lot of time is spent ensuring the dogs are placed in the right group based on their temperament and play style. We will collect your dog from your home or place of work in one of our specially adapted branded vehicles and walk them usually off lead for one hour before returning them home towel dried and tired.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
Your dog will need to have good off-lead recall, be sociable with dogs and people and be happy to travel in our adapted vehicle. Before any dog joins the pack here at Clifton Dog Walking, we arrange a face to face meet and greet. This gives you an opportunity to meet your new dog walker and ask them any questions you may have. From here we will arrange a trial walk, this is our chance to get to know their personality and how they interact with other dogs as well as to ensure your dog is happy and content with our set up and find the best walking group for them.
Although many dogs thrive in a group environment, it won’t suit every dog at every stage of their life. Dog’s sociability and personality changes, so we monitor each dog’s temperament whilst in our care and always act in the best interest of your dog. If they ever start to feel overwhelmed, overstimulated, anxious or stressed in a group setting or with our routine, we would recommend alternative options such as a solo dog walk.
Our group dog walking service runs Monday through to Friday. We have 2 group walks per day - a mid morning walk and a lunchtime walk. The dogs in the mid morning group will be collected and returned roughly between the hours of 9:30am - 12pm. Dogs in the lunchtime group walk will be collected and returned roughly between 12:30pm-3pm.
Ideally yes! If you commit to a regular weekly schedule this guarantees there is always a slot reserved for your dog on that day, week in week out. This also ensures we are able to keep some consistency for the dogs with their walking groups.
We prefer to have dogs booked in for regular walking slots, however, we understand the need to be flexible and can often accommodate ad-hoc and last minute walks, as long as you understand there is a chance we may be full.
If you need to cancel, please let us know at least one day in advance. Cancellations received the same day of the service will be charged full price. For all of our clients who have a regular weekly schedule, we allow a set amount of free cancellations each year.
Yes. We have comprehensive insurance specifically tailored to professional dog walking and pet care service, as well as pet transport, pet boarding & sitting and key holding.
Payments are made at the end of each month through our online booking portal. We have automatic payment on your profile with Stripe, a payment card processor that offers a simple and convenient way to pay invoices with a credit and/or a debit card.
